Arizona Airframe Service is a family owned company of Skywords Aviation LLC and we have been in business since 1992. My name is Richard Barter and I formed the company after working as a lead mechanic for a large museum doing restoration and repair. Our company is small and lean so as to inable quality and personal service at an affordable price.

We provide many services from small repairs to major airframe overhauls and inspections. We can provide expert sheetmetal, wood, composite, steel tube and fabric services. Our work is on display in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.

Patty Wagstaff's Extra 260 was given a full IRAN and new fabric and paint by us just before being placed in the Air and Space museum.
